Corvallis Sharpshooters Junior Rifle Club

The Corvallis Sharpshooters Junior Rifle Club is open to all youth, and meets at the McAlexander Fieldhouse Indoor Target Range on Thursdays at 6:30pm from October to June. The club teaches rifle safety, and 4-position target shooting.

Oregon State University Pistol Club

The Oregon State University Pistol Club was founded in 1948 and is also one of the largest and most well attended sports clubs at Oregon State. The Pistol Club meets Sundays and Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a new member safety training starting at 6:00 pm. Safety training is $5 and all participants must have their Oregon State ID to participate.

Oregon State University, Sports and Special Programs (Sports Club Office)

Oregon State University Department of Recreational Sports, Sports and Special Programs sponsors many recreational sports programs at Oregon State University. All of the Sports Clubs that Department of Recreational Sports sponsors are Student Sponsored Organizations, and are open to all members of the Oregon State University community who have a current Dixon Recreation Center membership.

Oregon State University Firearm Policy

In March of 2012, the Oregon Board of Higher Education approved a new policy regarding firearms for the Oregon University System, which includes Oregon State University. This policy does not affect the operation of the Oregon State Rifle Club, or the Oregon State Pistol Club. Both clubs have continued to operate in the same manner which they did before the policy was put into effect.

Oregon State Shooting Association

The Oregon State Shooting Association is an affiliate of the National Rifle Association and is dedicated to the advancement of all shooting programs within the State of Oregon.

Civilian Marksmanship Program

The Oregon State Rifle Club is recognized by the Civilian Marksmanship Program. The Oregon State Rifle Clubs club number is 066020.

National Rifle Association

The Oregon State Rifle Club annually hosts NRA approved matches, an Intercollegiate Rifle Club Sectionals, and participates in the Intercollegiate Rifle Club Championships held at Fort Benning, Georgia. All of the NRA approved matches, and the Intercollegiate Rifle Club Sectionals, are open to anyone wishing to participate. Participation in the NRA Intercollegiate Rifle Club Championships is by invitation only, by the National Rifle Association.

National Rifle Association Collegiate Shooting Program

The NRA Collegiate and Schools Department manages all Collegiate & School Shooting Programs to include; NRA Collegiate Rifle & Pistol Sectionals, NCAA Rifle Championships, NRA Collegiate Pistol Championships, NRA Intercollegiate Rifle Club Championships, ACUI Shotgun Championships, and Senior ROTC.
