Oregon State University Rifle Club
The Oregon State University Rifle Club was founded in 1944 with the purpose of encouraging organized recreational and competitive rifle shooting among the members of the Oregon State University community. Sine then, we have been dedicated to accomplishing this through teaching the members of the Oregon State University community about precision shooting, marksmanship, and the safe handling and the proper care of firearms.
In order to do this, the Oregon State Rifle Club has been dedicated to bringing students, staff, and faculty interested in precision rifle shooting, together. The rifle shooting environment is one of safety, fun and learning, and is open to all experience levels! Hands on training is available and provided to those who do not have prior experience with rifles, or who wish to expand their knowledge. The Oregon State Rifle Club is open to all members of Dixon Recreation Center and is recognized by the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
