Range Officers
Range Officers are appointed by the President in order to help supervise the range and to help carry out the daily activities of the club, when needed. Range Officers are recognized officers by Department of Recreational Sports, and are an important part of the Oregon State Rifle Club Coach and the Officer staff.
Club Officers
The Oregon State Rifle Club is a Student Sponsored Organization (SSO) under the Oregon State University Department of Recreational Sports, Sports and Special Programs. In order to ensure the club continues to meet its mission, accomplishes its yearly goals, and is run efficiently the staff within the Sports and Special Programs Office provides assistance, guidance, and training to the officers and coaches of all Sports Clubs under its direction.
At the end of each academic year the out-going President appoints a new President, who then appoints club members to become officers for the club for the following year. Since the Oregon State Rifle Club is a student sponsored and student run organization, it is up to these students to run the club on a day-to-day basis. In addition to the day-to-day operations of the club, the officers are also responsible for ensuring that all members of the club participate in the mandatory safety training, assisting all club members in properly learning each shooting position, and recruiting new members and coaches for the club.

Coaching Staff
The Coaching staff is made up of all volunteer coaches who are both knowledgeable, and have experience in precision shooting. Although not required, all of the coaches are alumni of both Oregon State University, and the Oregon State Rifle Club. Though the Head Coach sits on the Executive Committee, it is neither the responsibility of the Head Coach, nor the Coaches to run the club. Instead, the main responsibility of the Head Coach is to advise the Executive Committee and to help team members become better shooters; the main responsibility of the Coaches is to help club members develop and practice the proper technique.
Executive Committee
Together the Head Coach, President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary of the Oregon State Rifle Club make up the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is responsible for annually revising and amending the Constitution of the Oregon State University Rifle Club; reviewing and making all club policies; reviewing and approving all team policies; maintaining the standards and guidelines for the safety training program; when necessary, reorganizing the club; deciding on all club affiliations; as well as deciding on and voting on, any and all club member and team member issues and concerns.
